2025-2026 Season
This season's "Rising Star," Georgi Lekov has won an impressive number of prizes in competitions in his native Bulgaria, as well as in Romania, Cyprus, Belgium, China, and the U.S. He holds a Bachelor and Master of Music degrees from Mannes School of Music in NYC and is pursuing his doctorate at UConn where he is a Graduate Assistant.
Founder of the Chopin Society of CT, Sławomir Dobrzański has performed in over twenty countries around the world both as as a soloist and chamber musician. His extensive discography includes the complete piano works of Maria Szymanowska, as well as previously unknown works of Anton de Kontski, Wiktor Labunski, Felis Labunski, and Károly Aggházy.
One of the most prominent pianists of his generation, Piotr Alexewicz has been a two-time winner of the National Chopin Competition in Poland.
